[VIDEO] DP Rigathi Gachagua gives job to Ivy Chelimo for ‘Riggy G’ nickname

The lady who gave him the moniker “Riggy G” has been extended a job offer by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Gachagua had promised to reward Ivy Chelimo for giving him the cool moniker “Riggy G.”

Gachagua told the group on Monday afternoon in Kajiado that she had given the woman a job at his office.

It was this woman who changed my name to “Riggy G.” I tracked her out and I’m engaging her for a position in my office, ” Gachagua said as the audience applauded.

Ivy complimented the DP after being given the chance to speak. “I appreciate you giving me the position you granted me this morning. I really appreciate that” she said.

Gachagua, who has recently become popular with young people, said that he accepted the nickname with enthusiasm.

The appellation, according to the DP, is pleasing to the ear and has made life simpler for those who might find it hard to pronounce his last name.
