Police in Nakuru shot K24 journalist Catherine Wanjeri Kariuki while she was covering youth-led protests.

In Nakuru, police shot Media Max Limited journalist Catherine Wanjeri while she was covering an anti-government protest they did not want to broadcast live.

Police stormed into the Chosen Generation Church in Nakuru, beating people. The police ran to the altar and beat the protesters, resulting in many injuries in the church.

A police officer’s live bullet severely injured another Kameme TV reporter in Nakuru.

Police intimidated and harassed journalists along Kimathi Street in the Nairobi CBD, prompting the move. Some police officers confiscated some cameras, threatening to shoot them if they continued covering the events.
