MP Samuel Arama vows to end online critics ‘ Mimi si Mtu hivihivi’

Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama has sparked controversy after instructing his young supporters to capture anyone who criticizes him and turn them over to the authorities.

These contentious comments were made during a recent gathering in his constituency, where Arama also urged law enforcement to take action against those who oppose him.

What did MP Samuel Arama convey to the youths of Nakuru?
“Youth, if you hear anyone speaking poorly about me, detain them and take them to the police station,” Arama stated.

He encouraged the youth to form groups of 200 to “ensure peace” in the community. Nonetheless, he warned them against resorting to violence against his opponents.

“If you encounter individuals speaking ill of me, don’t harm them; detain them and bring them to the police, claiming they were insulting our MP,” he continued.

Arama also spoke to a local Officer Commanding Station (OCS) present at the event, urging the police to assist him in silencing his critics.

“Mr. OCS, you must provide me with justice because people are insulting me. If these youths arrest the critics and bring them to the station, please take appropriate action since you police have been unresponsive to my needs,” said the MP.

The politician emphasized his significant political presence in the area, asserting that even President William Ruto acknowledges his clout and support.

He also cautioned his adversaries to stop undermining and disrespecting him, affirming that he is and will continue to be the MP for the constituency until the 2027 general elections.
